I don't feel comfortable naming names in a public forum, as that has had adverse affects on me in the past.
There was a time when I could have tolerated Zutara as a ship. However, I just can't anymore. One specific fanfiction writer destroyed Zutara for me. It had nothing to do with the quality of the writing; her writing is of extremely high quality. I just could not tolerate the personifications. Now, every time I even think of Zutara, those personifications stick and I just feel . . . icky. Which is unfortunate, as I really do (or did) enjoy her writing. Thankfully, it would seem that Maiko is a more reasonable expectation, as shown in the SDCC Trailer for season 3, and that is a ship that I have become increasingly fond of for the past few months. Thank God that there will be some Maiko action in the 3rd season. WOO! Right, enough random babbling. I might scrap this later. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. And I just love Maiko. <3 Zutara used to be my favorite, but now (yeah, just cause of the trailer) I like Maiko better.
One of my curses is that much of what I do goes unnoticed by the majority. Those that do see my work don't hold strong opinions about any of the ideas that I express.
So, yea. Being under-the-radar can have its benefits.
Still, if I WERE bitched out by a bunch of Zutarians, it might get me more noticed by the people who I DO want to notice me . . . Eminem syndrome (Publicity is publicity, regardless of how it is come by), or some say.

. . . I made my point about Zutara as a ship in my comments section. Shippers themselves turned me off of Zutara with a certain, prevalent type of characterization of the characters that appeals so little to me that it makes me a little queasy to even think about Zutara in a positive light. I don't harp on that outside of this picture, though.
Thank you for popping my "Zutarian" cherry gently, though. Honestly, if I weren't cursed with a complete lack of presence I might be concerned about the Zutarian reaction to this picture. Thankfully, I'm lacking in presence so completely that I just don't get noticed, ever! WOO!
